Research 101
Research 101 is an information session intended for science students who want to get involved in real research during their undergrad, whether that is a Science College student who needs to complete their required research courses, a Specialization or Honours student looking to do an honours thesis, or any student who wants to apply for a summer research award like the NSERC USRA or CUSRA. This session will be run by executives of the Science College Student Association who have participated in several research projects over the years and want to share what they have learned from experience about finding a placement in a lab as an undergraduate student. A Q&A period will follow the main presentation.
